# Delivery and retries

Webhook deliveries are queued and processed reliably:

* Your endpoint must respond with a **2xx status code** within **30 seconds** to acknowledge receipt
* Failed deliveries are retried up to **4 times** with increasing delays: **1 min → 5 min → 15 min → 60 min**
* After 5 total attempts (1 initial + 4 retries), the delivery is marked as permanently failed
* Delivered entries are automatically cleaned up after 30 days

{% hint style="success" %}
Always return a 200 response quickly, then process the webhook payload asynchronously. This prevents timeout-related retries.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.
